RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT I TO AGREEMENT NO. AP-0506-08 WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF AGING (CDA) FOR THE ADDITION OF ONE-TIME-ONLY FEDERAL FUNDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-06 INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $341,118 FOR A TOTAL OF $3,428,257

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board has designated itself as the Area Agency on Aging of San Mateo County to carry out programs pursuant to senior services;

WHEREAS, on September 13, 2005, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution No. 67523, authorized Agreement No. AP-0506-08 with CDA for Title III/VII and Community-Based Services Program (CBSP) funding for Fiscal Year 2005-06 in the amount of $3,087,139;

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement by increasing the amount by $341,118 changing the Agreement obligation from $3,087,139 to $3,428,257 for the purpose of enhancing services for Title III/VII and CBSP with no change to the term July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has been presented with this Amendment and desires to enter into same:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement No. AP-0506-08 with CDA for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
