AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 04271

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

1.

Employee and Public Services. One Supervising Communications Dispatcher assigned responsibility as the Law Dispatch Manager shall receive a differential of 10% in addition to all other compensation. One Supervising Communications Dispatcher assigned responsibility as the Fire Communications Manager shall receive a differential of 10% in addition to all other compensation. Only one employee at a time may be so assigned to each of the assignments.

SECTION 2. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

ORGANIZATION 137000 ASSESSOR-COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER

Item N053S, Drafting Technician Series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 0 positions.

2.

Item V235, Information Technology Analyst, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 2 positions.

ORGANIZATION 17000 EMPLOYEE AND PUBLIC SERVICES

1.

Item D063, Supervising Communications Dispatcher, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 9 positions.

ORGANIZATION 30000 PROBATION

1.

Item C001S, Deputy Probation Office Series, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 167 positions.

SECTION 3. Section 1 of this ordinance is effective on April 23, 2006, All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
