Resolution Authorizing the Erection of Stop Signs at the Intersection of
8th Street (County Road No. 1137) and East Avenue (County Road No. 1153) in the Montara Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has evaluated the geometry of the intersection of 8th Street with East Avenue; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works, based on the aforesaid evaluation, has recommended that stop signs be placed at the intersection of 8th Street with East Avenue to create a 4-way stop due to the limited sight distance in this area; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to install stop signs at the intersection of 8th Street, County Road No. 1137, and East Avenue, County Road No. 1153, in order to create a 4-way stop.
