SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT #1 TO THE MOVING TO WORK AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT AND ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED BY HUD

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Moving to Work (MTW) Program is a significant program for the betterment of the residents of San Mateo County; and

WHEREAS, the MTW Agreement of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo was scheduled to expire on June 30, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the Federal Appropriation law for Fiscal 2006 authorized a three year extension to the Moving to Work Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development requires a Board resolution approving Amendment #1 which must be executed by the Director or designee in order to extend the MTW Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners approves Amendment #1 to the Moving to Work Agreement and authorizes the Director of the Department of Housing or designee to execute the amendment and any other document that may be required by HUD in order to implement the amendment.
