THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING

OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

WHEREAS, on this 6^th day of June, two thousand and six, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK is honored for his twenty-seven years of dedicated, honorable and faithful service to the City of San Bruno Police Department; and

WHEREAS, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK holds an Associate of Science Degree in Criminology and a P.O.S.T Advanced Certificate; and

WHEREAS, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK began his distinguished career as a Reserve Police Officer in 1977; and

WHEREAS, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK during his illustrious career has served as a Reserve Officer and an Officer; and

WHEREAS, during his tenure with the San Bruno Police Department, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK has served in numerous capacities including Field Training Officer, Officer in Charge, Crime Prevention Officer, Court Liaison Officer, Background Investigator, Detective, Report Writing Instructor, Bicycle Patrol Officer, Bicycle Patrol Instructor and Reserve Officer Coordinator; and

WHEREAS, OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK has served with distinction, honor, courage, loyalty and compassion toward making our community a safer place to live.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County expresses congratulations and sincere gratitude to OFFICER BRADLEY W. SCHIMEK for twenty-seven years of extraordinary and outstanding service to the City of San Bruno, and wishes him happiness and good health upon his retirement from the San Bruno Police Department.
