RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING

Carl Proiette

Upon his retirement after 30 years with the

Daly City Fire Department

WHEREAS, Carl Proiette retired from the Daly City Fire Department on May 6, 2005, as an Engineer-Operator with more than 30 years of exemplary public service; and

WHEREAS, Carl first joined the department on March 17, 1975, and rose through the ranks to become an Engineer-Operator on July 20, 1990; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, Carl has tirelessly participated in many of the department’s community outreach programs, including Operation Santa Claus; and

WHEREAS, Carl’s professionalism, positive attitude and leadership have earned the respect of his peers and colleagues as well as numerous accolades and letters of appreciation from the public.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County congratulates Carl Proiette upon his retirement from the Daly City Fire Department after more than three decades of selfless service to Daly City and northern San Mateo County. The Board hereby extends its gratitude and adds sincere wishes to Carl and his family for many, many years of continuing peace and happiness.
