SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. CMO 03 10B
WITH SIGNET TESTING LABS, INC. FOR INSPECTION AND MATERIALS TESTING FOR THE SAN MATEO COUNTY
YOUTH SERVICES CENTER PROJECT

This Amendment to Agreement, made and entered into this ________ day of ______________, 2006, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter called the County, and Signet Testing Labs, Inc., hereinafter called Contractor.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, On November 18, 2003, the parties hereto entered into Agreement No. CMO 03 10B for inspection and materials testing for the San Mateo County Youth Services Center project in the amount of $306,629 and amended the contract July 12, 2005 by $93,371 to $400,000; and

|
WHEREAS, the Agreement and Amendment 1 were an estimate of services to be needed and required and the scope and duration of the work has subsequently increased; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the amount of the contract to continue and complete inspection and materials testing;
|
|
|
NOW THEREFORE, the County and Contractor agree to: Increase the maximum not-to-exceed total payment for additional services of Contractor by $249,950, from $400,000 to $649,950.
|
In all other respects, the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
