Resolution Designating Freight Loading Zones in Public Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish freight loading zones in public rights-of-ways; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that there is a continuing need for freight loading zones that were previously considered by this Board and for new freight loading zones to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Freight loading zones are declared to exist at the following locations:

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 103 feet westerly of the intersection SWEENEY AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 67 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD, commencing at a point 92 feet easterly of the intersection of KAYNYNE AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 112 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 40 feet westerly of the intersection of HURLINGAME AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 185 feet, more or less.

 
 

Ø

On the southerly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 70 feet westerly of the intersection of WARRINGTON AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 56 feet, more or less.
