Resolution Designating Passenger Loading Zones in Public Rights-Of-Ways
|

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish passenger loading zones in public rights-of-ways; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that there is a continuing need for passenger loading zones that were previously considered by this Board to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

Passenger loading zones are declared to exist at the following locations:
|
|
|
Ø
|
On the northerly side of EAST SELBY LANE commencing at a point 70 feet easterly of the intersection of EL CAMINO REAL and extending easterly a distance of 44 feet, more or less.
|
|
|
Ø
|
On the northerly side of NEWPORT STREET commencing at a point 65 feet easterly of the intersection of LEXINGTON AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 170 feet, more or less.
|

|
Ø
|
On the southerly side of SAN MATEO AVENUE commencing at a point 70 feet
westerly of the intersection of HURLINGAME AVENUE and extending
westerly a distance of 33 feet, more or less.

Ø

On the southerly side of SANTIAGO AVENUE commencing at a point 48 feet westerly of the intersection of PALMA STREET and extending westerly a distance 40 feet, more or less.
|
|
2.
|
Said passenger loading zones shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
