Resolution Adjusting the Schedule of Fees for Use of Facilities

at the San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board proposed adjustments to the schedule of fees established June 8, 2004, for use of facilities at the San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports, to be effective July 1, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the proposed adjustments to said fee schedule be adopted by this Board; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1.

The fee schedule established June 8, 2004, for the use of facilities at the San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports shall be amended as described herein effective July 1, 2006.

2.

A three percent (3%) fee shall be established for the use of credit cards by airport tenants for the payment of monthly hangar, tiedown and lease fees.

3.

Overnight fees for transient parking at San Carlos Airport shall be increased from $8 per night for small aircraft and $15 per night for large aircraft to $10 and $20 respectively.

4.

Monthly tiedown fees at Half Moon Bay Airport shall be reduced from $59 to $40.

5.

Monthly tiedown fees at San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports shall not be subject to the automatic CPI fee adjustments scheduled for July 1, 2006, and July 1, 2007.

6.

Fees established by this resolution shall remain in full force and affect until changed by the mechanisms as described in this resolution or modified by an action of this Board of Supervisors.
