RESOLUTION AUTHORIZEING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH J&B SOFTWARE, INC. FOR UPGRADING THE TAX COLLECTOR’S REMITTANCE PROCESSING HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $329,817.00.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval an Amendment to extend the term of an Agreement between the County of San Mateo and J&B Software, Inc., whereby J&B Software, Inc. will provide remittance processing hardware and software upgrade services from March 29, 2006 to January 31, 2007 in an amount not to exceed $329,817.00; and

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved the Amendment to the Agreement as to both form and content and desires to approve same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo hereby authorizes the President of the Board of Supervisors to enter into said Agreement between J&B Software, Inc. and the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the signature thereto.
