RECOMMENDATION:
|
Appoint Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson and Supervisor Adrienne Tissier as Representatives, and Supervisor Mark Church and Supervisor Jerry Hill as Alternates to the Association of Bay Area Governments for a term beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2006.

BACKGROUND:
|
The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) was established in 1961 and is the oldest Council of Governments in California. ABAG is the designated regional planning agency for the San Francisco Bay Area and its members include all nine counties and 100 cities in the region. Representatives and alternates from member counties are appointed by that County’s Board of Supervisors.
