RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTROLLER TO CONTINUE PAYMENTS

ON HEALTH SERVICES CONTRACTS FROM JULY 1, 2006 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2006

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Agreements listed in Attachment A, incorporated by reference herein, expire on or before June 30, 2006, and renewal agreements have not been completed; and

WHEREAS, the Controller does not have the authority to make payments to these contractors between the expiration date and time of completion of the Agreements; and

WHEREAS, this Board wishes to continue payments to contractors listed in Attachment A through September 30, 2006 pending execution of new Agreements:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board authorizes the Controller to continue payments through September 30, 2006, on said Agreements for and on behalf of the County, subject to the contractors’ continued compliance with all terms and conditions of their most recent and previous agreements with the County with the exception of the fiscal terms provisions. Said payments are to be in the amounts authorized by the Director of Health or her designee.
