RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
DELOITTE CONSULTING LLP.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement with Deloitte Consulting LLP to provide consulting services for the term June 27, 2006 to February 10, 2007 for a total obligation of $620,200 and;

WHEREAS , this Board has determined that it is in the best interest of the County to waive the Request for Proposal Process based on Deloitte Consulting’s record of success in the implementation of HSA's data warehouse and their familiarity of automation systems in the Health Department;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of an agreement, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

It is hereby authorized that the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to 1) Waive the Request for Proposal process and; 2) Execute said agreement as is approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
