AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 04322

 

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

 

1.

District Attorney’s Office. Attorneys who are assigned by the District Attorney to work as a Deputy-in-Charge of the following work units shall receive a differential of 5.74% of base pay in addition to all other compensation. Only one employee at a time may receive payment in each area:

 

    Each Municipal Court Branch

 

    Juvenile Court Division

 

    Consumer Fraud

 

    General Office Support

   

2.

Sheriff’s Office. The Lieutenant in charge of the Office of Emergency Services and Homeland Security shall receive a differential of 7.5% of base pay in addition to all other compensation.

   

3.

Probation. The Deputy Chief of Institutions and the Director of the Juvenile Hall shall receive a differential of 5.74% of base pay in addition to all other compensation for a period of 6 months from May 1, 2006 through November 3, 2006.

 

SECTION 2. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

 

ORGANIZATION 13000 ASSESSOR-CLERK-RECORDER

 

1.

Item U068, Senior Appraiser, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 19 positions.

2.

Item V235, Information Technology Analyst, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 3 positions.

 

ORGANIZATION 61000 MENTAL HEALTH

 

1.

Item E419, Lead Medical Office Assistant, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 0 positions.

2.

Item V230, Information Technology Technician, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

 

ORGANIZATION 70000 HUMAN SERVICES

 

1.

Item E336, Lead Office Assistant, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 10 positions.

2.

Item E338, Office Services Supervisor-E, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

 

SECTION 3. Section 1 of this ordinance is effective on August 27, 2006. All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
