RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE REVENUE AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND GARFIELD ELEMENTARY CHARTER SCHOOL FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2005 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo and Garfield Elementary Charter School entered into a three-year Revenue Agreement on September 17, 2005, in the amount of $52,280 for FY 2005-06, whereby the County agreed to provide staff for counseling services at the school and the Garfield Elementary Charter School agreed to reimburse San Mateo County for one-half of the salary and benefits for this staff; and

WHEREAS, this Amendment to the Revenue Agreement is for partial reimbursement of the salary and benefits for a Psychiatric Social Worker to provide counseling for children attending Garfield Elementary Charter School and their families in the amount of $54,371 for the FY 2006-07, for a total obligation of $106,651; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of an Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved the same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Revenue Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
