RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm Donna Vaillancourt as Director of Human Resources.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The County has conducted a statewide recruitment for the position of Human Resources Director. Ms. Vaillancourt has been nominated by the County Manager as the best candidate for this position based on her 25 years of County experience and knowledge of human resources issues in the County.
The Charter requires the Board of Supervisors to confirm appointments of department heads nominated by the County Manager.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Ms. Vaillancourt’s annual salary will be $142,500.
