| RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF PROPOSITION 1C, HOUSING AND EMERGENCY SHELTER TRUST FUND ACT OF 2006 |

| RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that | 
|  | 
| WHEREAS, San Mateo County has significant demand for affordable housing and emergency shelter funding; and | 
|  | 
| WHEREAS, Proposition 1C provides $2.850 billion in bonds for battered women shelters, low-income housing for seniors, homeownership assistance for the disabled and working families and repairs and accessibility improvements for apartments of families; and | 
|  | 
| WHEREAS, While there is no direct allocation of funding in Proposition 1C for San Mateo County, the County received over $19.3 million from Proposition 46, a prior housing bond; | 
|  | 
| NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution does hereby support Proposition 1C regarding the Housing and Emergency Shelter Trust Fund Act of 2006. |
