RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY WORKER AND CHILD CARE REFERRAL SERVICES, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $151,852 AND BRINGING THE TOTAL OBLIGATION TO $295,910 AND EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT ONE YEAR THROUGH JUNE 30, 2007.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on November 15, 2005, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution Number 67657, authorized an Agreement in the amount of $144,058 for the term of July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 for the purpose of providing community worker and child care referral services; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend said Agreement by increasing the amount by $151,852, changing the Agreement obligation from $144,058 to $295,910 and extending the term through June 30, 2007 for the purpose of continuing services through FY 2006-07; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with this Amendment and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors authorizes the President of this Board of Supervisors to execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
