BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIVE-YEAR
AGREEMENT WITH TURBO DATA SYSTEMS, INC. FOR PARKING CITATION PROCESSING SERVICES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, late last year a Countywide committee of involved local agencies issued a Request for Proposals for parking citation processing services ; and

WHEREAS, four (4) vendors were solicited and ultimately two vendors responded; and

WHEREAS, it was determined that Turbo Data Systems, Inc would best serve the County’s needs; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement, whereby Turbo Data Systems, Inc. will provide parking citation processing services, for a five-year period commencing July 1, 2006 until June 30, 2011, at a processing rate of $1.40 for each handwritten citation; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Agreement and has examined and approved same as to both form and content, and desires to enter into same:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized to, execute the Agreement with Turbo Data Systems, Inc. for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
