RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING:
1. THE EMPLOYEE AND PUBLIC SERVICES DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE SAN MATEO COUNTY COUNCIL OF ENGINEERS; AND
2. APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE SALARY AND BENEFITS OF UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO SENIOR ENGINEER AND SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER CLASSIFICATIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for its consideration, a Letter of Agreement with the San Mateo County Council of Engineers (SMCCE) which provides that the classifications of Senior Engineer and Senior Civil Engineer will be deleted from the Memorandum of Understanding between the County and the SMCCE effective September 9, 2006 and added to the Resolution Expressing the Salary and Benefits of Unrepresented Management Personnel effective September 9, 2006, contingent on approval by the Civil Service Commission; and

WHEREAS, this change was considered and approved by the Civil Service Commission on September 7, 2006; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Employee and Public Services and the Director of the Public Works Department have recommended that said Amendment be approved; and
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors considered the recommendation of both the Director of Employee and Public Services and the Director of the Public Works Department.
|
|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors hereby approves said Amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding with the San Mateo County Council of Engineers and to the Resolution Expressing the Salary and Benefits of Unrepresented Management Personnel of the County of San Mateo; and the Employee and Public Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendments on behalf of this Board.
