PROCLAMATION DESIGNATING THE SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 AS | ||||
“DOING BUSINESS INSAN MATEO COUNTY” DAY | ||||

WHEREAS, the highlight event of “DOING BUSINESS IN SAN MATEO COUNTY” DAY is the San Mateo County Business Expo and Mega Mixer which is the only county-wide event that brings together companies large and small to meet face-to-face with over 1,000 attendees and 150 exhibitors; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Business Expo and Mega Mixer is a highly interactive and entertaining event and is an opportunity to exchange information and ideas with exhibiting companies as well as for exhibitors to update potential prospects on the latest products and services available, to attend educational seminars, examine exciting technology exhibits and network with connections at the VIP reception; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Business Expo and Mega Mixer is a unique opportunity for regional business owners and corporate representatives who market their products to small and mid-sized companies to experience San Mateo County’s successful business atmosphere; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Business Expo and Mega Mixer is the opportune time for locally-based firms to become acquainted with regional vendors and for national companies to become familiar with San Mateo County’s excellent companies, thus widening the scope of commerce which helps drive healthy economic trends, | ||||
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereby proclaims September 28, 2006 as “DOING BUSINESS IN SAN MATEO COUNTY” DAY and commends the Chambers of Commerce of San Mateo County and all of the exhibitors and attendees of the San Mateo County Business Expo and Mega Mixer and wishes them much success with this event and for continuing healthy and robust business outcomes. | ||||
