AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 04322

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 5 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

All Departments. Clinical Services Managers I - Nursing and Clinical Services Managers II – Nursing who are responsible for managing a nursing unit, that is a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week operation shall receive a differential of 5% of base pay in addition to all other compensation.

SECTION 2. Part 9 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

The Rate of Pay for Item F098, Relief Nursing Supervisor is changed to $45.09 – $56.36 per hour.

SECTION 3. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

ORGANIZATION 61000 MENTAL HEALTH

1.

Item G040S, Mental Health Case Worker Series, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 132 positions.

ORGANIZATION 66000 SAN MATEO MEDICAL CENTER

1.

The salary for item D214, Deputy Director of Inpatient Services, is changed to range 7193, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 132 positions.

2.

Item D217, Deputy Director of Long Term Care, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 0 positions.

3.

Item D154, Clinical Services Manager II - Nursing, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 4 positions.

4.

Item F012, Charge Nurse - E, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 37 positions.

5.

Item D144, Clinical Services Manager I - Nursing, is increased by 2 positions for a new total of 21 positions.

SECTION 4. Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance and Item 1 under Organization 66000 of Section 3 are effective at the start of the first pay period following adoption. All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
