Resolution Designating No Parking During Specified Hours Zones
in Public Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish no parking during specified hours zones in public rights-of-ways; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that there is a need for adding no parking during specified hours zones on portions of Arlington Way and Pigeon Point Road to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors had reviewed and concurred with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

No parking during specified hours zones are declared to exist at the following locations:

a.

Arlington Way

On the southerly side of Arlington Way commencing approximately 300 feet southwesterly of RINGWOOD AVENUE and extending easterly a distance of 120 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

b.

Pigeon Point Road

On both sides of PIGEON POINT ROAD commencing approximately 3,500 feet southwesterly of the northerly intersection of PIGEON POINT ROAD and CABRILLO HIGHWAY, State Route No. 1, and extending southwesterly a distance of 600 feet, more or less, between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.

Said no parking during specified hours zones shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
