BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
|
The County has conducted a nationwide recruitment for the position of Human Services Agency Director. Ms. Johnson has been nominated by the County Manager as the best candidate for this position based on her 30 years of progressive experience in human services.
|
|
The Charter requires the Board of Supervisors to confirm appointments of department heads nominated by the County Manager.
|
|
FISCAL IMPACT:
|
Ms. Johnson’s annual salary will be $150,000.
