BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION NO. 632-C AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR OPERATING SUBSIDY TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR FEDERAL FUNDING YEAR JANUARY 1, 2007 TO DECEMBER 31, 2007

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority owns and operates two public housing developments known as Midway Village and El Camino Village; and

WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) makes available to qualifying housing authorities operating subsidy for the Federal Funding year January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007; and

WHEREAS, HUD regulations require that the Housing Authority receive Board approval to submit an application for operating subsidy; and

WHEREAS, this Board desires that the operating subsidy be applied for and received.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Director of the Department of Housing is authorized and instructed to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for operating subsidy for Federal Funding year January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 and to sign any documents required to properly complete the application process.
