Recommendation
|
1. Re-appoint Supervisor Jerry Hill to the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Board of Directors representing the County of San Mateo for the term beginning November 28, 2006 to November 27, 2007; and
2. Re-appoint Supervisor Mark Church as an alternate representative to the CSAC Board for the term beginning November 28, 2006 to November 27, 2007.

Background
|
Under the provisions of the CSAC Constitution, members of the Board of Directors and alternates are elected by their respective board of supervisor s to one-year terms of office commencing with the first day of the CSAC annual conference in November. The seats currently held by Supervisor Jerry Hill and Supervisor Mark Church will become vacant on November 27, 2006.

Discussion
|
Supervisor Jerry Hill and Supervisor Mark Church would like to continue serving on the CSAC Board of Directors as member and alternate, respectively.
