Re-appointment to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Board

Recommendation

Re-appoint Supervisor Adrienne Tissier as a representative to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Board for the term beginning February 10, 2007 to February 9, 2011.

Background

Under the provisions of the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Board, the County of San Mateo Board of Supervisors appoints a member of the MTC eighteen-member board. The seat held by Supervisor Adrienne Tissier will become vacant on February 9, 2007.

Discussion

Supervisor Adrienne Tissier would like to continue serving as a County of San Mateo Board of Supervisors’ representative on the MTC Board.
