Re-appointment to the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Board

Recommendation

Re-appoint Supervisor Adrienne Tissier as a representative to the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Board for the term beginning January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010.

Background

Under the provisions of the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Board, the County of San Mateo Board of Supervisors appoints two members of the SamTrans nine-member board. The seat held by Supervisor Adrienne Tissier will become vacant on December 31, 2006.

Discussion

Supervisor Adrienne Tissier would like to continue serving as a County of San Mateo Board of Supervisors’ representative on the SamTrans Board.
