Recommendation
|
Re-appoint Supervisor Mark Church as a representative to the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) Board for the term beginning January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008.

Background
|
Under the provisions of the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) Board, the County of San Mateo Board of Supervisor s appoints two members of the SMCTA seven-member board. The seat currently held by Supervisor Mark Church will become vacant on December 31, 2006.

Discussion
|
Supervisor Mark Church would like to continue serving as a County of San Mateo Board of Supervisors’ representative on the SMCTA Board.
