RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH WOMEN’S RECOVERY ASSOCIATION (WRA), TO PROVIDE TREATMENT SERVICES FOR ADOLESCENT GIRLS DIAGNOSED WITH MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEMS AT TRACEY’S PLACE OF HOPE, THE TERM REMAINS THE SAME, MAY 1, 2006 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $150,000 TO $205,000, $150,000 IS NET COUNTY COST

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on June 16, 2006, the County of San Mateo Human Services Agency entered into Agreement Number 74400-06-C292 with WRA to provide funds for hiring staff and to provide services to dual diagnosis adolescents for the term of May 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to Amend this Agreement to add funds increasing the amount by $150,000 for a total obligation of $205,000 for continuation of services at Tracey’s Place of Hope; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
