RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint Margie O’Clair to the Commission on the Status of Women to a term expiring December 31, 2010.

BACKGROUND:
|
The Commission is charged with the responsibility of assessing the needs of women, girls and families in the County and acts as a resource and makes annual recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
|
|
|
DISCUSSION:
|
Ms. O’Clair has been serving on the Commission since May 26, 2003 and is eligible for another term. Ms. O’Clair has requested that her term be extended for four more years to December 31, 2010.
