BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED ADMISSION AND OCCUPANY PLAN FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING OR DESIGNEE TO MAKE ONGOING REVISIONS TO THE PLAN AS NECESSARY TO CONFORM WITH HOUSING LAW AND U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) REGULATIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that housing authorities develop an Admission and Occupancy Plan to govern the operations of their Public Housing Programs and that such Plan be kept current to conform with ongoing statutory and regulatory changes; and

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority’s Admissions and Occupancy Plan has been revised by staff which conforms to the requirements of HUD and incorporates all current Housing Laws and HUD regulations; and

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to approve the revised Admissions and Occupancy Plan; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration and acceptance the revised Admissions and Occupancy Plan reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Commissioners has examined and approved the same as to form and content.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority, approve the Admissions and Occupancy Plan and that the Director of the Department of Housing or designee is authorized to make ongoing revisions as necessary to conform with Housing Law and HUD regulations.
