RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR THE TERM MAY 1, 2006 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008, TO INCREASE THE AGREEMENT MAXIMUM OBLIGATION BY $59,580 TO A NEW MAXIMUM OF $202,140

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on July 18, 2006, your Board adopted Resolution No. 068150 approving an Agreement with Shelter Network for the provision of transitional housing for seriously mentally ill individuals at risk of homelessness for the period May 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008, for a maximum obligation of $142,560; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the number of dedicated transitional beds from three beds per night to five beds per night and to increase the maximum obligation to $202,140; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendment to the Agreement:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is authorized to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
