BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING: (A) AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH PACIFICA RESOURCE CENTER/A PROJECT OF THE TIDES CENTER TO PROVIDE CORE SERVICES, FOR THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2006 TO JUNE 30, 2007, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $8,620, TO $105,535, $8,620 IS NET COUNTY COST; AND (B) THE DIRECTOR OF THE HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY TO EXECUTE SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS AND MINOR MODIFICATIONS NOT TO EXCEED AN AGGREGATE OF $25,000, AND TO MAKE MINOR CHANGES IN THE TYPES OF SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES PROVIDED UNDER THE AGREEMENT

 

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors, for its consideration and acceptance, an Amendment to the Agreement with Pacifica Resource Center/A Project of the Tides Center, which is one of the seven (7) Core Service Agencies, for the purpose of providing the residents of San Mateo County with Core Services such as information and referral, emergency assistance, case management and other social services; and

 

WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement remains the same, July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, with a new total obligation of $105,535; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the form of this Amendment and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into said Amendment; and

 
 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

A. The President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto; and

B. The Director of the Human Services Agency shall be authorized to execute subsequent amendments and minor modifications not to exceed an aggregate of $25,000, and to make minor changes in the types of services and activities provided under the Amendment.
