Resolution Designating Miscellaneous Parking Regulations in Public
Rights-Of-Ways

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish miscellaneous parking regulations in public rights-of-ways; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that there is a continuing need for miscellaneous parking regulations that were previously considered by this Board to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Miscellaneous parking regulations are declared to exist at the following locations:

CSM DRIVE

   

It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to remain standing upon CSM DRIVE from the intersection of PARROTT DRIVE and extending southwesterly a distance of approximately 440 feet, more or less, to its terminus, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, unless there is displayed in plain view, upon the vehicle, a “permit parking” card issued by the San Mateo County Director of Public Works.

MONTEREY AVENUE

   

It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to remain standing upon the southerly side of MONTEREY AVENUE, commencing at a point 160 feet northeasterly of the intersection of ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS and extending 300 feet northeasterly, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted, unless there is displayed in plain view upon the vehicle a “Permit Parking” card issued by the San Mateo County Director of Public Works.

MONTEREY AVENUE

   

It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to remain standing upon the northerly side of MONTEREY AVENUE commencing at a point 140 feet northeasterly of the intersection of ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS and extending northeasterly a distance of 398 feet, more or less, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 P.M., Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted, unless there is displayed in plain view upon the vehicle a “Permit Parking” card issued by the San Mateo County Director of Public Works.

PARROTT DRIVE

   

It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to remain standing upon PARROTT DRIVE commencing at a point 500 feet easterly of the intersection of CSM DRIVE and extending westerly 1000, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, unless there is displayed in plain view upon the vehicle, a “permit parking” card issued by the San Mateo County Director of Public Works.

SAND HILL ROAD

   

It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of any vehicle to allow such vehicle to load, unload, stop, stand, park, or to store vehicles, trailers or materials upon the traffic island at the intersection of Sand Hill and Whiskey Hill Roads.

     

2.

Said miscellaneous parking regulations shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
