RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY (FSA) TO PROVIDE CHILD WELFARE SUPPORT SERVICES, FOR THE TERM OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2006 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2007, IN THE AMOUNT OF $290,553, $203,387 IS NET COUNTY COST

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, desires to enter into an Agreement with the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County (FSA) to provide supervised visitation services to at-risk families for the term of September 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, for which San Mateo County’s payment amount will be $290,553; and

WHEREAS, FSA was the only service provider who responded to the County’s Request for Proposals on May 8, 2006 to provide Child Welfare Support Services that includes therapeutic and regular supervised visitation, supervised exchanges, transportation and child watch.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
