Resolution Authorizing the Erection of Stop Signs at the Intersection of
Elm Street (County Road No. 1114B), Alta Vista Road (County Road No. 361), Rivera Road (County Road No. 1159) and Vallecitos Road in the Montara Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has evaluated the sight distance available for motorists entering the intersection of Elm Street, Alta Vista Road, Rivera Road and Vallecitos Road; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works, based on the aforesaid evaluation, has recommended that stop signs be placed at the intersection of Elm Street, Alta Vista Road, Rivera Road and Vallecitos Road to create a 4-way stop due to the limited sight distance in this area; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to install stop signs at the intersection
Elm Street (County Road No. 1114B), Alta Vista Road (County Road No. 361),
Rivera Road (County Road No. 1159) and Vallecitos Road, in order to create a
4-way stop.
