Reappointments to the Commission on Public Assisted Medical Care

RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint Adrienne Tissier and Richard Gordon to the Commission on Public Assisted Medical Care to a term expiring January 1, 2010.

VISION ALIGNMENT:

Shared Vision 2010 #24: Residents accept individual responsibility for contributing to the quality of life of the County as a whole.

BACKGROUND:

The Commission is the legal entity responsible for the Health Plan of San Mateo. The Commission has nine members: who members of the Board of Supervisors, the County Manager, a physician, a pharmacist, and four public members.

Terms on the Public Assisted Medical Care Commission are for four years with a twelve year limitation which applies to full terms.
