RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF ELECTIONS OFFICER TO RENDER SPECIFIED ELECTION SERVICES FOR THE LAS LOMITAS SCHOOL DISTRICT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON

TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2007.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, pursuant to State Law, the Governing Body of the Las Lomitas School District adopted Resolution #06-11-15(c) giving notice of holding a Special Election on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, for the purpose of submitting a special tax to the voters of the District and requesting the Board of Supervisors to permit the county elections official to render specified services to the District relating to the conduct of the Special Election; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer has been asked to perform certain services in conjunction with this Election; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer is agreeable to providing election services to the Las Lomitas School District; and

WHEREAS, in consideration of services and supplies provided by the Chief Elections Officer, the Las Lomitas School District will reimburse the County for the costs of these services and supplies.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED
that the President of this Board of Supervisors authorizes the Chief Elections Officer to render specified election services for the March 6, 2007 Special Election.
