RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF ELECTIONS OFFICER TO RENDER SPECIFIED ELECTION SERVICES FOR THE PACIFICA SCHOOL DISTRICT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SPECIAL MAIL BALLOT ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
TUESDAY, MAY 8, 2007

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to State Law, the Governing Board of the Pacifica School District adopted Resolution No. 2006-12-06-B ordering the County Superintendent to call an election by a special mail ballot election on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, for approval of a parcel tax and requesting the County Elections Official to render specified services to the School District relating to the conduct of the Special Election; and

 

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer has been asked to perform certain services in conjunction with this Election; and

 

WHEREAS, the Chief Elections Officer is agreeable to providing election services to the Pacifica School District; and

 

WHEREAS, in consideration of services and supplies provided by the Chief Elections Officer, the Pacifica School District will reimburse the County for the costs of these services and supplies.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors authorizes the Chief Elections Officer to render specified election services for the May 8, 2007 Special Mail Ballot Election.
