RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE A SUBLEASE AGREEMENT WITH CARMICHAEL & ASSOCIATES FOR 4200 SQUARE FEET OF MEDICAL OFFICES AT 1241 EAST HILLSDALE, IN FOSTER CITY, CALIFORNIA, AT A RATE OF $163,800 PER YEAR

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a three year sublease of real property (“Sublease”), reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo shall sublease approximately 4,200 square feet of medical offices at initial monthly rent of $13,650.00, from Carmichael & Associates, a portion of that certain building at 1241 E. Hillsdale, Foster City in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said agreement, and

WHEREAS, the Sublease commences January 1, 2007 and expires on January 1, 2010 unless sooner terminated as set forth therein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a Sublease and this Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Sublease for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto; and

|
IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the County Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, any and all written notices, consents, and documents in connection with the Sublease including, but not limited to, termination of the agreement under the terms set forth therein.
