RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH STANFORD HOSPITAL AND CLINICS FOR MEDICAL DIRECTION AND CONSULTATION TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM FOR THE TERM OF JANUARY 1, 2007 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2007, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $102,540

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby Stanford Hospital and Clinics provides medical direction and consultation to the Emergency Medical Services program; and

WHEREAS, the County Manager has approved modification of the equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination enforcement language requirements; and

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved the Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is authorized to execute said Agreement for and

on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
