RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT WITH CA, INC. F/K/A COMPUTER ASSOCIATES INTERNATIONAL, INC. FOR SOFTWARE LICENSURE AND SUPPORT AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER TO MAKE MINOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE CA, INC. AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Amendment to the March 31, 2004 Agreement with CA, Inc. for software licensure and support, to extend the term from March 31, 2004 to September 30, 2008, and to increase the contract amount by $439,143 for a total obligation of $1,185,865; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been requested to grant signature authority to the Chief Information Officer to execute subsequent amendments and minor modifications to the CA, Inc. Agreement effective March 31, 2004 in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED 1) The Chief Information Officer is authorized to make minor modifications to the CA, Inc. Agreement not to exceed $25,000; and 2) the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Amendment as is approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
