Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Agreement for the Construction of Private Improvements
Associated with the “Lands of Yoho” Minor Subdivision,
1512 Edgewood Road, Redwood City Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Public Works of the County of San Mateo has recommended that an Agreement be entered into with Thomas J. Yoho and Bertha M. Yoho, developers, for construction of private improvements to serve the proposed lots in the minor subdivision known as “Lands of Yoho”; and

WHEREAS, performance of the required private improvement work has been secured by a Faithful Performance Security Bond in the amount of $42,000, and payment for labor and materials has been secured by a Payment Security Bond in the amount of $21,000, which bonds have been filed with the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, security in the amount of $21,000 shall be filed with the Director of Public Works to guarantee and warranty the work for one year following the completion and acceptance of the on-site improvements; and

WHEREAS, an Inspection Deposit will be paid prior to construction of private improvements to the Department of Public Works to cover the actual costs incurred by the County for regular and final inspections of the subdivision improvements; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the Agreement and the recommendation of the Acting Director of Public Works and has approved same as to both form and content, and desires to enter into the Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors shall attest the President's signature thereto.
