BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2007 ANNUAL PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY (PHA) PLAN FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO CERTIFY THE PLAN

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires all housing authorities to annually adopt a PHA Plan which outlines the housing programs they intend to operate and how the programs will be operated; and

WHEREAS, HUD requires that a paper certification be submitted to document that the plan was created according to HUD regulations; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed the 2007 Annual PHA Plan and public comments about the Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Annual PHA Plan for the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo covering the period from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 is approved, and that the Director of the Department of Housing, or his designee, is authorized to submit the Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development and to execute appropriate documents required for proper certification of the Plan.
