RECOMMENDATION:
|
It is recommended that Bern Smith be reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Mr. Smith is recommended to the vacant full-term position that ends December 31st, 2010.

BACKGROUND:
|
The Parks and Recreation Commission is charged with enhancing park, recreational and education opportunities in the County’s park system.
Bern Smith has served as my appointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission since September of 2000. I believe him to be an energetic and highly-competent professional, and his continued service to the Commission is an asset for the entire county.
