RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that |
|
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of special services to or for County or any Department thereof; and |
|
WHEREAS, on May 9, 2006, pursuant to Resolution #067978, the County and RGM and Associates (“the parties”) entered into an Agreement for the rehabilitation of the Safe Harbor Shelter located at 295 North Access Road in South San Francisco for the Contract Sum of $1,370,938 (the “Original Agreement”) and |

WHEREAS, on December 12, 2006, pursuant to Resolution #068439, the parties entered into a the First Amendment of the Original Agreement, whereby a total of $151,047 in Change Orders were added which brought the contract sum to $1,521,985 (the “Current Agreement”); and |
|
WHEREAS, the parties now wish to add additional work and an attendant cost increase of $118,766, for a new contract sum of $1,640,751; and |
|
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, a Second Amendment, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the same as to form and content and desires to enter into the same. |

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto. |
