RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE MIDCOAST STORMWATER DRAINAGE COMMITTEE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, as detailed in Exhibit “N” of the “Resolution (1) Amending the San Mateo County General Plan/Local Coastal Program (LCP), And (2) Enacting County Policy Resulting From The Midcoast LCP Update Project” adopted by the Board on November 14, 2006 as Resolution No. 068386, the Chair of the Midcoast Community Council is the designated representative of the Midcoast Community Council on the Midcoast Stormwater Drainage Committee;

WHEREAS, the Chair of the Midcoast Community Council is elected to that position for only a one year term;

WHEREAS, issues under the purview of the Midcoast Stormwater Drainage Committee will likely take more than one year to resolve, and a consistent membership composition could facilitate the Committee in achieving its purposes.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors Amend the Membership of the Midcoast Stormwater Drainage Committee to remove the requirement that the Chair of the Midcoast Community Council be the Midcoast Community Council’s representative on the Committee and add the requirement that the representative be any member of the Council as chosen by the Council, as shown in Exhibit “A” of this Resolution.
