RESOLUTION 1) AUTHORIZING A FIRST AMENDMENT

TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN

THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATES FOR PREPARING DRAFT AND FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS FOR THE CLOS DE LA TECH WINERY PROJECT; 2) AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO EXECUTE SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS AND MINOR MODIFICATIONS NOT TO EXCEED AN AGGREGATE OF $25,000 AND TO MAKE MINOR CHANGES IN THE TYPES OF SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES PROVIDED UNDER THE AGREEMENT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that:

 

WHEREAS, on March 1, 2005, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution Number 67189, authorized an Agreement with Environmental Science Associates in the amount of $191,615 for the term of March 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006 for the purpose of preparing a Draft Environmental Impact Report and a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Clos de la Tech Winery Project; and

 

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement by increasing the amount by $67,600, changing the Agreement obligation from $191,615 to $259,215, and extending the term from June 30, 2006 to December 31, 2008 for the purpose of completing the Draft and Final Environmental Impact Reports for the Clos de la Tech Winery Project; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with this First Amendment to the Agreement and desires to enter into same.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Community Development is authorized to execute subsequent amendments and minor modifications not to exceed an aggregate of $25,000 and to make minor changes in the types of services and activities provided under the Agreement.
